Prerequisites

  • You must have a working OVH email address
  • You must have an iPhone - IOS 9

Your OVH email account on your iPhone in one click

There is nothing easier than using an OVH email account on your iPhone.

Open this link on your iPhone: https://ssl0.ovh.net/roundcube/auto/. Enter your OVH email address and tap “Generate” then follow the steps.

You will now be able to use your OVH email on your iPhone.

Part 1: Settings

Go to your iPhone's settings.

Part 2: Mail, Contacts, Calendars

Go to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".

Part 3: Add an email account

Select "Add account"

Part 4: Type of email account

Scroll down and select "Other" and then "Add mail account".

Part 5: Email account settings

Enter the name you wish to display to others when sending an email, your full email address and the password for the email account.

The description automatically mirrors the email address by default.

Tap the "Next" button once you are done.

Part 7: Settings for incoming and outgoing mail servers

  • Type of account: IMAP/POP: Choose the type of account that you want

  • In the "Incoming mail server":

Host name: SSL0.OVH.NET User name: Email address Password: Your password for your email account

Scroll down to see the following iPhone settings.

  • In the "Outgoing mail server":

Host name: SSL0.OVH.NET User name: Email address Password: Your password for your email account

Tap "Next" when you are done.

  • You must authenticate the outgoing server with your usermane and password to be able to send emails on our SMTP servers.

Part 9: Configuring an email account

Complete email account configuration by selectingthe desired synchronisation.

Click "Save" to finish adding the account.

POP configuration

This is the information you need to configure a POP email account.

Configure POP with secure SSL enabled or disabled:

Email address: Your full OVH email address. Password: The password is configured in your customer account. Username:Your full OVH email address. Incoming server: The server receiving emails: SSL0.OVH.NET Incoming server: The incoming server port: 995 or 110 Outgoing server: The server sending emails: SSL0.OVH.NET Outgoing server port: The outgoing server port: 465 or 587

Ports 110 and 587 are for disabled SSL security. Ports 995 and 465 are for enabled SSL security.

IMAP configuration

This is the information you need to configure an IMAP email account.

Configure IMAP email with SSL security enabled or disabled:

Email address: Your full email address. Password : The password configured in your Control Panel. Username: Your full email address. Incoming server:Server receiving emails: SSL0.OVH.NET Incoming server port:Incoming server port 993 or 143 Outgoing server: Server sending email: SSL0.OVH.NET Outgoing server port:: 465 or 587

Ports 143 and 587 are for disabled SSL security. Ports 993 and 465 are for enabled SSL security.
