Your OVH email account in one click on your iPhone

Nothing could be easier than using an OVH email account on iPhone.

Go to the following address from your iPhone: https://ssl0.ovh.net/roundcube/auto/. Enter your email address, click generate and follow the next steps.

You should now be able to use your OVH email on your iPhone.

Part 1: Settings

On your iPhone, go to settings.

Part 2: Email, Contacts, Calendar

Go to "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".

Part 3: Adding an email account

Select "Add Account"

Part 4: Type of account

Then Select "Other" and "Add Mail Account".

Part 5: Email account settings

Then you will be asked for your name, e-mail address and password.

The description is filled in automatically.

Click "Save" when you are done.

Part 6: Advanced incoming mail server settings

In "Incoming Mail Server":

Host name: ssl0.ovh.net Username: Your full email address (eg: test@ovh.net) Password: Your password

Part 6: Advanced outgoing mail server settings

In "Outgoing Mail Server"

Host Name:ssl0.ovh.net Username: Your full email address (eg: test@ovh.net) Password: Your password

Click "Save" when you are done.

  • You must authenticate yourself with your username and password for the Outgoing Mail Server or you will not be able to send email on our SMTP servers.

Part: Finishing

The device will verify the email account settings.

You account is now configured correctly.

Configuration with POP email

This is the information you need to configure a POP email account on an iPhone.

Configure POP email with secure SSL enabled or disabled:

Email address: Your full OVH email address. Password: The password configured in the [url="https://www.ovh.com/manager/web/login/"]Control Panel [/url]. Username: Your full OVH email address. Incoming server:SSL0.OVH.NET Incoming server port : 995 or 110 Outgoing server: Server for sending mail: SSL0.OVH.NET Outgoing server port: 465or 587

Ports 110 and 587 are for disabled SSL security. Ports 995 and 465 are for activated SSL security.

  • You must enable authentication[/url] for the outgoing SMTP server.

Configuration with IMAP email

This is the information you need to configure an IMAP email account on an iPhone.

Configure IMAP email with secure SSL enabled or disabled:

Email address: Your full email address. Password: The password configured in the [url="https://www.ovh.com/manager/web/login/"]Control Panel [/url]. Username: Your full email address. Incoming server:SSL0.OVH.NET Incoming server port: 993 or 143 Outgoing server: Server for sending mail: ssl0.ovh.net Outgoing server port: 465 or 587

Ports143 and 587 are for disabled SSL security. Ports 993 and 465 are for activated SSL security.
