You can click on "Installation in advanced mode" if you want to choose different settings such as the database or installation folder
For simplified installation, we suggest that you uncheck this box so that you don't have to choose any settings and the module will be directly installed on your website (You will find further information about advanced mode installation below).

If your "www" folder is not empty on your hosting package you will not be able to complete installation, we provide details for this sort of error further on in the guide.

Advanced mode installation
After choosing your domain you have to go to the "1-click modules" tab.
Then click on "Add a module" to select the desired module and tick the box "Installation in advanced mode".
On this page you have to select the database you want to install your module onto.
Under "Select the database" you can choose a database connected to your web hosting package.
If you choose a database connected with your web hosting package all the fields will be completed automatically. You just have to enter a password for the database in order to continue to the next stage.
If you want to choose another database, for example one on your Private SQL server, you have to complete the following fields:
Server address: To install a module you need a database. Enter the address of the server which manages your database.
Database name: Enter the name of the database you want to install your module onto.
Port: Enter the port number used by the database's server. This number is between 1024 and 49151. The default port of a MySQL database is 3306.
Type of database: Select the type of database server.
Username: Enter the database username.
Password: Enter the database password.
For a Private SQL server you will find the server address and the port in the "SQL Connection" under the database server's "general information" tab.
You then have to specify the following information:
Administrator name: The administrator name allows you to log in to your module's administration interface, you also have to provide your chosen password.
Domain: Select the domain name which will point to your module. This domain name must point to your web hosting package.
Language: Select the language for your module's interface.
Installation path: This setting lets you specify where you would like to install your module. This is the relative path to the HOME directory.
- If you want your new module to be accessible from the address "http://yourdomain.uk/blog" you have to enter the term "blog" after "./www/".
The module will be installed a few minutes after you have confirmed the details on the summary page.

Is your www folder empty?
If your "www" folder is not empty on your hosting service, you will not be able to complete installation.
In fact, creating a module will erase the files which are already on your hosting package, for security reasons your installation will not be completed and you will receive an email to this effect.
How to fix the issue
- In this instance you must back up the files and folders in your folder on your computer in order to completely empty the "www/" folder. Follow this guide for help with this: or
- Use advanced mode installation in order to select a subfolder.
Is there already a module in the www file?
If you are shown the following message:
An error occurred when loading information (We have the record of a module already installed at 'www' on 'rc****n.uk')
You already have a module in the www folder on your hosting package and you cannot install a new module in the same folder because this would erase files.
How to fix the issue
- Delete the module currently present if you no longer need it, and don't forget to make all the necessary backups on your side. or
- Use advanced module installation in order to select a subfolder.
Do you have a database?
If the following message appears:
An error message appears when loading information. (You do not have any more databases available to create a module)
In this instance you cannot use simplified module installation because you do not have any databases.
How to fix the issue
- Use advanced mode installation in order to select another database (for example on a private database server) or
- Use a database which already exists. or
- Verify in the "database" tab that you have used all your databases, you can sort the list yourself.
Recurring errors during your configuration
During installation, the message "This shared hosting is not active" appears.
In this instance you have to check that your hosting package has been renewed, or install your module on another hosting package.
During installation, the message "The path you chose is not accessible from the domain you provided" appears.
The target folder provided does not match the selected domain's root folder. In this instance you have to go to your control panel and then go to the "Associated domains" tab for the relevant hosting platform to check that the target root folder is correct.
During installation, the message "The lang is not available for this module" appears.
This means that the language which you have chosen for this module is not available. You can choose another language.
During installation, the message "There is not enough space on your hosting" appears.
There is not enough space on your hosting package to install this module, you have to free up some space on your hosting package, or change your package to get more space.
During installation, the message "You have to provide the parameter for the dependency" appears.
A parameter is missing in the information which you provided about your database.
During installation, the message "The port has to be between 1024 and 49151" appears.
The port number provided for your database is wrong, it has to be between 1024 and 49151.
During installation, the message "Error for ___ password" appears.
The password for your database is not correct.
During installation, the message "The needed dependencies are not defined for this module" appears.

You receive one of these errors via email
"You are trying to install a module in the ____ folder which is not empty, this action cannot be taken"
You must clean this folder by moving/deleting content before relaunching this task. You can also choose another folder in which to install the module. Please note that if you specify a folder which does not exist, one will automatically be created.
"There is no longer enough space on your hosting package to carry out this operation."
In this case you must remove elements from your hosting package (make sure to back up beforehand), this will free up some space.
You can also change your hosting package to get a higher quota.
"Unable to create a new database: your account already contains the maximum number of databases allowed with your package"
Your hosting package allows you to create a limited number of databases, and in this instance you have reached the threshold.
If this is the case, you can:
- Order an additional pack of databases.
- Change your hosting package in order to get more databases.
- Enable your SQL private server for free if you have Performance hosting ()
- Use an existing database (configuration in advanced mode), in this instance you must provide a table prefix which does not already exist in your current database.
- Create a new database on your SQL Private server (if you have one), in this instance you must use advanced mode configuration.
"Impossible to log on to the database"
The information provided in order to connect to your database is not allowing you to establish a connection, please check that the details you provided are correct.
"The ____ prefix is already used in the database"
During the installation process, you entered a database prefix which already exists on your current database, it is not possible to continue with the installation because you risk losing the tables in your current database.
- We suggest that you provide a prefix not in current use in your database so that you can install this module.
"The DNS for the ____ domain name is not pointing to a hosting package"
You cannot install a module on a domain which does not point to one of our hosting packages.

Your database is not in the correct version which is preventing the database from being installed.
- We suggest that you update it or use another one.
"The _ database (server _) seems to be stuck in read/write only mode"
User permissions specified for your database mean that you cannot install this module. You must therefore change the user's permissions or specify another user.
What happens once the module is installed?
You will receive a confirmation email straight away detailing essential information such as the link to your administration area (for your module) and the user details.
You can also access your new module on the web at your domain name address.
How do you delete a module?
Before deleting a module, we recommend that you make all the necessary backups on your side.
You then have to go to the "One-click Modules tab" and click on the cogwheel to the right of the module. Then select "Delete module".
You then have to confirm that you wish to delete the module.
Deletion will take a few minutes.
The files on your hosting package will be deleted but the database will remain associated with the module, you can delete this in the "database" (SQL) tab.
How do I change the administrative password for my module?
To change your module's administrative password, you have to go the "1-click Modules" tab and click on the little cogwheel to the right of your module. You can then choose "Change password".
You then have to confirm this change. The change will take a few minutes.
You can specify the password yourself from your customer account, an email will be sent to your address containing the new password.
I deleted the "www" file by mistake, can I install a module anyway?

How can I check the version of the module offered?
Just hover over the module before requesting installation.
