OVH Mail Migrator is a tool created by OVHcloud. It is used to migrate your email accounts to your OVH email addresses. The process covers different types of content, such as emails, contacts, calendars and tasks, provided that they are compatible with your email addresses.
Find out how to migrate your email accounts to OVH using our OVH Mail Migrator tool.
OVH Mail Migrator can be accessed from the page https://omm.ovh.net/. It handles three types of migration, and allows you to track their progress.
Migration type | Description |
---|---|
Single migration | Migrates the contents of one email address to another email address. This solution is recommended for migrating one or several email addresses (the steps must be repeated for each address migrated). |
Migration by file | Migrates the contents of one email address, which have previously been extracted into a file, to another email address. This process is compatible with PST, ICS and VCF file formats. |
Multiple migration (project mode) | Is used to handle several migrations as part of a single project. This solution is aimed at people who are looking to migrate a large number of email addresses. |
Please read the section of this guide that covers the most suitable migration for your project.
Log in to the https://omm.ovh.net/ tool, move the mouse over the Migration
tab in the menu bar at the top of the page, then click New Migration
On the page that opens, you can now fill in the information for each section.
Information | Description |
---|---|
Server type | Select the server type that matches your accounts. If one of them is an OVH account, you can use Hosted by OVH (Autodetect) to fill in this information automatically. |
Server URL | Enter the URL address of the server on which your accounts are hosted. This field may be filled in automatically when the server type is chosen. |
Login | Enter the full email address for your accounts. |
